Cars use honeycomb ceramics as a carrier. Due to the large specific surface area of the carrier, the active catalytic composition of the noble metal can be sufficiently coated. The honeycomb ceramic is suitable for the production of a catalytic converter in a diesel or gasoline vehicle to reduce the emission of polluting gases.
