Slurry, clay and ceramic slurry pumps

Pumping of slip, clay and ceramic suspensions with abrasive, high viscosity up to 50,000 cP is provided by two types of pumps:

peristaltic pumps;
mdiaphragm pneumaticpumps.

Ceramic slip is a thick aqueous suspension containing clay (kaolin), quartz, feldspar and other impurities. It is used in the initial stages of any ceramic production. Slip is an aggressive medium that has an abrasive effect on the pump, so it is important to choose equipment for pumping it that is resistant to abrasion and other damaging influences.

Pumps for slip, clay, ceramics with a number of design features

Diaphragm pneumatic pumps for slip they work at the expense of compressed air energy, they do not have a gearbox and a motor; the absence of bearings and rubbing parts eliminates damage, simplifies the maintenance of pumps that do not need lubrication. The work does not use electricity, so they are safe, sparking is completely excluded.
Peristaltic pumps for slurry - a very popular solution for pumping viscous and abrasive media in harsh industrial and highly contaminated operating conditions. The pumped medium comes into contact only with the elastic tube material.
