The European standard EN 12756 (DIN 24960) defines the installation dimensions of single and double mechanical seals for internal arrangement, dimensions of the equipment seal chamber, fixing the counter rings against their possible rotation, technical requirements for the seating and sealing surfaces of the equipment seal chamber, as well as designations of materials for parts of these precision devices.
This document defines a line of standard seals for installation dimensions for shaft diameters from 10 mm to 100, inclusive.
