The three-screw pump with a heating jacket is designed for pumping non-corrosive, viscous liquids with lubricating properties that do not contain abrasive particles.
The pump consists of three synchronously rotating screws (one drive screw and two driven screws), a casing and a heating jacket. The pump is driven by a standard induction motor via a flexible coupling. This type of pump is characterised by stable flow rate, low noise levels and high pressure.
The pump can be used to transfer various liquids with temperatures up to 350 °C and viscosities up to 760 cSt. Examples include liquid fuel, crude oil, mineral oil, rubber, bitumen, and plasticisers and stabilisers used in bitumen production.
They are used in the oil industry, the mining industry, the energy sector, shipbuilding, and the glass and rubber manufacturing industries. The jacket-equipped casing allows the pumped liquid to be heated (to prevent solidification) or cooled.
