The R-MG9 mechanical shaft seal features a compact design offering good compatibility and ease of installation for various types of equipment. Design features include single or double seals, balanced design, with a central conical or cylindrical spring, bellows-type construction, and operation independent of the direction of shaft rotation. Available in metric and imperial sizes with various fixed ring options. For shaft diameters d1 = 10 … 100 mm (0.375‘ … 4’). The R-MG9 is also used in tandem or ‘back-to-back’ configurations.
