Sealing device - a device or method to prevent or reduce the leakage of liquid, gas by creating an obstacle at the junction points between machine parts (mechanism), consisting of one or more parts. There are two large groups: stationary sealing devices (end, radial, tapered) and movable sealing devices (end, radial, tapered, combined).
