O-ring made of EPDM (ethylene propylene rubber). The operating temperature of the O-rings made of EPDM rubber is from -55°C to 125°C. The material is resistant to chemicals (dilute acids, alkalis and polar solvents) and is very elastic at low temperatures, and is also used in contact with food or beverages, but EPDM is not resistant to mineral oils at all. Mineral oils and fats, as well as animal and vegetable oils and fats, cause unacceptably high swelling.
