NBR has a high hardness and, for rubber elastomers, a relatively high abrasion resistance (110 mm3). Application temperature limit: from -30 °С to + 100 °С (for a short time up to + 120 °С). At high temperatures, aging accelerates, due to which the material becomes hard and brittle. This begins in an oxygen atmosphere (air) at about 80 °C, when the air is blocked, the aging process slows down significantly (for example, in hot oil).
