A column-type apparatus, which is designed to purify the distillate or alcohol from the main impurities and obtain the epurate and the head fraction of ethyl alcohol.
The epuration column operates under atmospheric pressure, it is heated by hot steam from the steam collector through a control valve, which is fed either to the bubbler or to the boiler located in the cubic part of the column.
The epureation column must be equipped with an upper and lower vacuum interrupter, a thermometer in the cubic part of the column, a thermometer at the outlet of cold water, a tap for sampling the epuret.
