Surface pumps are installed on the surface for drawing water from wells, up to 9 meters deep, and for increasing pressure in the system. There are two types of surface pumps, centrifugal and vortex. Vortex pumps are used to balance and increase pressure in water pipes. Centrifugal (self-priming) pumps are used to lift water from wells and holes up to 9 meters deep. To select the right pump, you need to determine the purpose of the device's use. It's worth noting that for water supply automation, a pump alone will not be enough. You will also need an accumulator tank and a control unit (pressure relay, pressure controller).
